Guidelines for Extending the Battery Life of Pure Electric Buses
Guidelines for Extending the Battery Life of Pure Electric Buses
If you want your electric bus battery to last longer, remember these tips! First, don't fully charge the battery every day. Keep it at 80%-90% level. Also, don't discharge it too deeply. Stop charging when it reaches 20%. This way, the battery will last longer. Second, in tropical climates, park the vehicle in a shady area when not in use to avoid direct sunlight on the battery, as it can accelerate degradation. Third, have our local technicians check the battery once a month to see if there are any inconsistencies in the cells and make adjustments promptly. Our BMS system can also remotely monitor the battery status and alert you immediately if there are any abnormalities! After a certain bus company in Malaysia adopted our maintenance plan, the battery life was extended from 8 years to 10 years, saving a significant amount of replacement costs!
